COMMITTEES

BINGO NIGHTS AND FAMILY NIGHTS
Responsible for planning bingo nights for a family night of fun!!! As well aspromoting Family Nights in which Ford families can come and enjoy a movie or other planned activity for free.

CHICK FIL-A BISCUITS (classroom signup)
Responsible for coordinating dates, volunteers, etc and collecting money for the various committees which sell biscuits.

COPY LAB
Coordinates volunteers and training for the Copy Lab on a regular basis.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Responsible for teaching students the importance of helping others within the community through various charitable drives. The committee’s main emphasis will be on assisting our sister school, Brown Elementary, with their many needs. Volunteers are needed to help coordinate drives, collect donated goods and research the needs of the charitable organizations.

EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN
Fosters relationships between special needs students and students without disabilities. Volunteers will coordinate activities between individual students, classes and grades. Leah Ashe leah@ashe.com

FUNDRAISING
Responsible for coordinating the school wide fundraising programs and collecting labels and redeeming them to their respective companies for merchandise and cash.

GRANT WRITING(no signup)
Responsible for writing, sending, and following up on grant opportunities for various committees in the PTSA program.

HEARING & VISION
Responsible to inform students and make them aware of health and hygiene issues. Responsible for the mandatory screening of students’ hearing and vision.
